2009 This was a special commission from a fellow miniaturist of her late husband - I added a hat in one hand at a later stage and she finished the shoes herself.

Below - the source photos and the early stages of the sculpt - I spend time making a padded body before I dress the sculpt.   The skin has yet to be painted...

Looking at it now, I can see that the pocket is out of proportion to the shirt - something else to keep in mind in the future!
