It is also possible to further fold a two-fold card to create a ‘Door’ card - as
used for
the Persian Gate, Topiary Tree and Xmas Flower Designs:
Score a vertical line fractionally, say 1mm, under halfway from edge on each side panel and fold to the inside.
Cut a piece of prettily coloured paper (marbelized or matching the Design)
Trim edges with fancy scissors and paste onto the centre panel for the inscription - this will show as the ‘door’ is opened.
